John Profit, Cerene, et al:

Steve Brown is disingenuous with his statement concerning the royalties of Gary Null.  Royalties are a small percentage of the sale price.  By forgoing royalties, Gary Null can still reap a fortune selling products to WBAI and Pacifica.  The only true method to show that Gary Null is forgoing earning a profit on his products is by comparing the cost, which Gary Null pays the manufacturer for his vitamins, supplements, DVDs, books, etc. to the price, which Gary Null charges WBAI and Pacifica.

If Gary Null is charging WBAI and Pacifica for his products (vitamins, supplements, books, DVDs, etc.) more than the cost, which Null pays the manufacturer for these products (vitamins, supplements, books, DVDs, etc.) then Gary Null is making a profit.

Furthermore, these prices can be manipulated.  Does Gary Null self-publish his books?  Is Gary Null a part-owner of the publisher of his books or of the manufacturer of his DVDs?  If so we cannot be certain that Null is not making a profit.

Let us look at DVDs, which cost less than one dollar to manufacture- and one dollar is being overly generous to Null.  Even if Null mails the DVDs directly and the cost is one dollar for packing and shipping, then the cost of the DVD is two dollars.

Yet, Tracy Rosenberg has mentioned the cost to Pacific for a DVD being $15; that is $13 of profit for Gary Null.

If Gary Null is being so generous, have a certified public accounting firm, such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, verify that Gary Null is not charging more than the cost of production.

At meetings of the WBAI Finance Committee it was stated that Gary Null was charging WBAI approximately 40% of the pledge for his premium.  So if the pledge were $100; Gary Null was charging $40- and that did not include the cost of shipping and handling.  Ergo, Gary Null was making a fortune from selling his premiums to WBAI.

A letter from the publisher that Gary Null is forgoing his royalties is meaningless.  What is meaningful is the amount that Gary Null is charging WBAI and Pacifica and if that price is above the price, which the manufacturer charges Gary Null.

Gary Null is making a fortune selling products to WBAI and Pacifica.  This is what Steve Brown is covering up.  Ed Manfredonia
