FIRE HAZARD AT WBAI AND A PERVERT IN THE WINGS

August 30, 2015

FIRE HAZARD AT WBAI

Recently Mitchel Cohen speculated upon the identity of the whistleblower, who reported a hazardous condition to the New York Fire Department.  The fire hazard consisted of boxes of flammable paper, which were piled high to the ceiling.

Perhaps the whistleblower was concerned that someone with an arrest for arson, later reduced to starting a fire and disorderly conduct, in Randolph, New Jersey might be tempted to relive his attempt to roast marshmallows around the fire at Boy Scout Camp. (The perpetrator was 36 at the time.)   Although these charges were dismissed, James R Sagurton was found guilty of Petty Disorderly Person Offense.

The date of the offense was 22 March 1989 and the trial date was 12 September 1989 that resulted in a 10 days suspended sentence and a fine of $200.

Perhaps the whistleblower and the New York Fire Department did not want James R Sagurton, birthdate 03-02-1953 for those who wish to research Sagurton’s convictions, to start a marshmallow roast.

James R Sagurton’s convictions do not appear on his curriculum vitae explaining why he is qualified to be a member of the WBAI Local Station Board.
